Rating: Sell

Executive Summary: Buku kosong: dilarang masuk KKGI.JK. Pemegang posisi: jual bertahap lewat limit 292–300, pangkas eksposur ke sisa stub 15–20% unit standar. Batasi eksekusi harian 20–25% rata-rata nilai transaksi (~Rp 35–45 juta/hari) tahan slippage dalam batas 3–6%. Penutupan bawah 288 picu percepatan keluar penuh. Horison waktu: 10–15 sesi bursa.

Investment Thesis: Fakta verifikasi dukung penuh posisi bear. Laba bersih H1 2026 KKGI.JK Rp 14,5 miliar, EPS ~Rp 3,8, P/E mahal ~38x di harga 292. Margin bersih tipis 2,1%, tarif pajak efektif 60%, hasil komprehensif minus Rp 57,5 miliar akibat OCI negatif Rp 71,9 miliar (~5% kapitalisasi pasar hilang). Tesis bull gugur: valuasi EV/EBITDA 5–6x fiktif, pakai imputasi tanpa bukti (asumsi D&A 5–8%, pajak normal 22%, buang rugi FX Rp 28,5 miliar) tanpa neraca dan arus kas operasi. Laba operasi Rp 76,7 miliar riil tapi belum terbukti aman dari erosi ekuitas OCI.

Likuiditas sangat kering: turnover 0,08%, nilai harian cuma ~Rp 172 juta. Stop loss 285 ilusi likuiditas, rawan gap through. Short dilarang karena tanpa borrow dan order book tipis. Kepemilikan 37% Energy Collier (1,855 miliar lembar) overhang masif dibanding likuiditas harian (<600 ribu lembar), bukan opsi murah. Pembelian komisaris Rp 190 juta (593 ribu lembar) kerdil dibanding aksi jual insider Leong See Mun dan direksi (total 24,9 juta lembar).

Action: Sell

Reasoning: The plan's own conclusion is Underweight, and under the mandate an Underweight research call is a Sell — so the action is Sell, but sized as a low-conviction Sell, not a liquidation. The two sides are not symmetric: the bear case is built on verifiable tape and filings (net profit H1 2026 Rp 14.5bn, EPS ~3.8, P/E ~38x at 292, net margin 2.1%, effective tax 60%, OCI −Rp 71.9bn unexplained), while the bull case rests on (1) stripping FX/other expense as non-cash, (2) dropping the tax rate to 22% on an unproven non-recurring assumption, and (3) inventing a 5–8% D&A rate with no reported figure. Those three imputations are what produce the "5–6x EV/EBITDA" and "12–14x P/E" — precision that cannot be audited, because D&A, net debt, equity and operating cash flow are all absent. You do not capitalize a best-case reconstruction and call it the market mispricing. So the bear side wins on quality of evidence.

Against the price structure, the 15 Jul 2025 technical report (364, AVOID) is stale by roughly 15 months, but its directional read has been validated rather than falsified: price is now 292, i.e. below the 344–352 "flush" zone the report said would restore the primary downtrend. There is still no higher low, no volume-confirmed breakout, and no flow confirmation — the AVOID at 364 was right, and the sequence since (lower highs, drift down to 292, insider distribution by Leong See Mun at 371–385 and a director at 324) is continuation, not bottoming. A stale report that was correct on direction is not a reason to Hold; conflict is not a Hold, and here there is no real conflict — the current plan agrees with the old technical conclusion.

Against the plan: I adopt its Underweight→Sell but reject any framing that treats this as a high-conviction short. Absolute downside from 292 to the ~288 bid looks limited, operating profit of Rp 76.7bn is genuinely intact, gross margin 19.1% is defensible for thermal coal at this point in the cycle, and the 37% Energy Collier stake is real (priced) optionality — event risk without terms, not zero. The binding constraint is not conviction, it is liquidity: 0.08% turnover and ~Rp 172m/day means a Sell cannot be expressed cleanly and a market order is value destruction. That is why the correct Sell is an orderly reduction to a residual stub, not an exit at any price — and why, for a flat book, the same call reads as "do not initiate; there is no long here."

Entry Price: No initiation. For an existing long, the "entry" to the exit is a limit-sell zone of 292–300 — sell into strength, never a market order. Do not chase the bid lower; if the book thins, step the limit down gradually rather than forcing volume. There is no viable short entry (no borrow, spread too wide, 0.08% turnover) — the Sell is expressed by reducing long exposure, not by opening a short.

Stop Loss: Do not rely on a 285 stop — at this liquidity it can gap through with no fill, and the plan itself concedes 3–5% round-trip slippage. Manage the residual on a signal basis: a close below 288 triggers exit of the remaining stub on the next open with an aggressive limit, accepting realized fills 3–5% worse than the signal. Structural invalidation of the bear case (which would move the rating up, not down): two consecutive closes above 324–328 on expanding volume, i.e. a real higher high.

Position Sizing: Measured against a standard single-name micro-cap allocation (1 unit = normal allocation):

  • New money: 0. KKGI.JK is closed to additions, including "scale in at 288–300."
  • Existing holders: cut to a maximum of 25% of the standard unit (trim 50–75%), executed in tranches — not in one clip.
  • Daily execution cap: 20–25% of average daily traded value (~Rp 35–45m/day) to keep slippage inside the 3–5% budget; budget several sessions for the full reduction.
  • Residual stub: hold only against the unpriced 37% stakeholder optionality and the intact operating profit, with the 288 close-out rule above.
  • Re-rating gate (Hold→Overweight) requires documents, not narrative: (a) full statements showing actual D&A, net debt, equity and operating cash flow sufficient to compute a real EV/EBITDA; and (b) an explanation of the −Rp 71.9bn OCI split between FX translation and genuine asset impairment. Without at least (a) and (b), no addition. Secondary gates: proof the 60% tax is non-recurring, and the terms/agenda of the Energy Collier stake.

Bottom line: the evidence supports reducing KKGI.JK, but the illiquidity and the small absolute downside argue for a disciplined, limit-driven Sell-to-a-stub, not a panic exit and not a short. For a flat book the instruction is simply: no position, no entry, until the documentary triggers are met.

Recommendation: Underweight

KKGI (Resource Alam Indonesia) — as of 15 Jul 2025

⚠️ First, a data-integrity issue you need to know about

The tools are returning two different regimes:

Source Date Price
Verified OHLCV snapshot & indicators 2025-07-15 364
Broker summary embedded in vendor verdict ~2026-10-27 294

The broker accumulation table quotes fill prices of 294–301, and the lowest close anywhere in my Apr–Jul 2025 window is 352 — so the bandarmologi data cannot belong to 15 Jul 2025. It is latest-session data from a different (later) period. I treat the verified OHLCV/indicators as the source of truth and use the broker/vendor block only as regime-mismatched context, not as evidence about 15 Jul. get_accumulation_history returned no rows and get_order_flow_detail returned 0 ticks, so I have no broker or tick confirmation for 15 Jul at all.

1. Price action on 15 Jul: bearish rejection candle

Field Value
Open / High / Low / Close 370 / 370 / 364 / 364
Volume 1,754,100 sh (Rp642.2M, 603 trades)
Net foreign −275,600 sh (~16% of volume)

Open was the high, close was the low — a full-body red candle (−1.6% from 370). Crucially, this came the day after the bounce's best session: 14 Jul traded up to 378 but closed 370 with the heaviest volume of the bounce (3.73M sh) and net foreign selling of 875,400 sh. That is the signature of supply being fed into strength at 370–378, then demand vanishing on 15 Jul (volume roughly halved).

2. Trend: downtrend intact, this was a counter-trend bounce

Structure from the data:

  • Apr 8 – Jun 16: rally 358 → 430.
  • Jun 17: open 430, close 394 on 25.5M shares — the largest volume in the entire 62-session dataset (vs ~3–11M typical). A high-volume reversal day at the top. That is where the trend broke.
  • Jun 17 – Jul 8: persistent decline to 352.
  • Jul 9 – 14: bounce 356 → 370.
  • Jul 15: rejection.

Position vs moving averages (verified):

MA / Band Value Close 364 vs
10 EMA 364.03 at it (lost the bounce)
50 SMA 383.96 −5.2% below
200 SMA 470.91 −22.7% below
Boll mid / upper / lower 368.8 / 393.7 / 343.9 below mid, above lower

Price below the 50 and 200 SMA means the Apr–Jun advance was a rally inside a larger downtrend, and the bounce has now failed to reclaim even its 10 EMA / mid-Bollinger (369–364 cluster).

3. Momentum: decelerating downside, but no reversal signal

  • RSI 43.1, down from 46.9 on 14 Jul. Bottomed at 31.6 on 8 Jul — so it is off oversold but rolling back over, not thrusting.
  • MACD −7.95, signal −8.83, histogram +0.87. Histogram has been positive and MACD has climbed from −11.05 (8/9 Jul) to −7.95 — genuine bearish-momentum decay, but both lines remain deeply below zero. This is stabilization, not a buy signal.
  • ATR 10.25 = 2.8% of price. Modest volatility; moves are slow and grinding rather than climactic.

Read: the selling is losing force, but the tape has produced no higher low and no volume-expansion breakout. Momentum is neutral-to-weak; trend is down.

4. Levels (ATR-derived)

Level Price Basis
Resistance 2 378–384 14 Jul high 378 / 50 SMA 383.96
Resistance 1 369–372 Boll mid 368.8, 10 EMA 364, 15 Jul open 370
Spot 364
Support 1 352–354 7–8 Jul lows (352/354), the bounce origin
Support 2 343.9 Bollinger lower
ATR stop ref ~342 1×ATR below 352

A break and close below 352 opens 344 and restores the primary downtrend. A close above 378 with volume > ~3.7M shares (i.e. exceeding the 14 Jul supply day) would be the first genuine evidence of a trend change.

5. Cross-check vs the vendor (IDX Edge PRO)

The vendor says AVOID, score 25/75, "harga dalam tekanan jual," stop Rp285. I agree with its direction for its own date — but note two things:

  • Its own historical base rates are close to random. The three patterns it cites give win rates of 40.2–40.7% with average event returns of −0.03% to +0.12% and profit factors of 0.95–1.05. That is a coin flip with negative drift, not a statistically strong short. So the AVOID is a low-conviction avoid, not a high-conviction bearish call.
  • It contradicts itself technically: it labels the trend "🟢 Bullish" and "di atas SMA20" on 27 Oct 2026 data, which has nothing to do with the 364 setup I'm analysing. I discount that entirely.
  • Broker flow it cites (buyers XL Rp200M / BQ / PD; sellers ZP −Rp227M, AK, NI at fill prices 294–301) points to distribution by institutional brokers into retail absorption — directionally the same message, but it is *not evidence for the 15 Jul candle and I will not transplant it.

So: same conclusion, but arrived at from the chart, and I'd weight it as "avoid," not "short aggressively."

6. Decision

AVOID — no long here. Stand aside and wait for one of two triggers.

  • Do not buy the current price. The bounce failed exactly where it needed to hold, on declining volume with foreign net selling (~−346,500 shares net over 9–15 Jul).
  • Long trigger A (breakout): daily close above 378 with volume above ~3.7M shares → targets 384, then 394. Initial stop ~366.
  • Long trigger B (flush): test of 344–352 with a reversal candle and volume expansion → stop below 342, first target 364–370.
  • If holding: reduce/tighten. A close under 352 confirms continuation toward 344; that is the objective level to defend, not 364.
  • Invalidation of the bearish view: two consecutive closes above 384 (50 SMA) with expanding volume.

Bottom line

KKGI is a downtrend in a stabilization phase, with a failed bounce. Price sits on its 10 EMA after a rejection candle at 370 that closed at the low on half-volume — the Jul 14 push to 378 was met with heavy foreign selling, and Jul 15 gave it back. RSI at 43 and a positive MACD histogram say the pace of decline is easing, but nothing in the verified data constitutes a reversal: no higher low, no breakout, no flow confirmation. Verdict: AVOID / NO TRADE at 364. Act only on a volume-confirmed reclaim of 378 (long) or let it flush to 344–352 and buy the reversal there; if already long, the 352 line is the level that matters.

Caveat worth stating plainly: broker and tick data for 15 Jul were unavailable, and the bandarmologi block returned appears to belong to a different period (fill prices 294–301 impossible in this date range). Any conclusion here rests on daily OHLCV and technicals only — no broker-flow confirmation exists for this date.

KKGI.JK — Resource Alam Indonesia Tbk. (IDX) | Fundamental Research Memo

Data as-of: latest available filings = Q2 2026 (H1 2026), insider tape through 21-Sep-2026, quote ~292–294 (market open, Sesi 1). Note: the balance sheet / income statement / cash flow statement tools returned only a document index (no line-item data) for every frequency and date I tried, so I could not verify balance-sheet quality, net cash/debt, or operating cash flow. That is a material gap — flagging it explicitly rather than guessing.

1. Valuation & liquidity snapshot

Market cap Rp 1.47tn (~US$90–95mn)
Today's traded value Rp 172mn (~US$11k)
Turnover ratio 0.000845 (≈0.08% of shares)

This is a micro-cap with near-zero liquidity. A single day's traded value is ~12bps of market cap. Any position of institutional size cannot be entered or exited without moving the price several percent. This dominates the entire investment case for a trading decision.

2. H1 2026 P&L (cumulative, as filed)

Line Rp bn % of revenue
Revenue 694.3 100.0%
COGS (561.6) 80.9%
Gross profit 132.7 19.1%

Attributable to parent 19.1 → EPS H1 ≈ Rp 3.8
Comprehensive result (57.5) −8.3%
OCI (after tax) (71.9) —

Key read-throughs:

  • Revenue quality is OK, earnings quality is not. 19% gross margin is respectable for thermal coal, but the 60% effective tax rate plus a Rp 28.5bn FX loss slashed a Rp 76.7bn operating profit into Rp 14.5bn of net income.
  • The OCI hit is the red flag. A Rp 71.9bn negative OCI in six months turned a Rp 14.5bn profit into a Rp 57.5bn comprehensive loss. That's ~5% of market cap of book-value erosion in one half. I could not confirm from the (broken) balance sheet whether this is FX translation on USD receivables/debt, a fair-value reserve on financial assets, or a revaluation — but at this magnitude it is the single most important unknown in the name.
  • Annualizing H1 gives ~Rp 7.6 EPS → ~38x P/E, and ~Rp 150bn of operating cash earnings on a Rp 1.47tn cap → ~9–10x EV/EBITDA for a cyclical commodity producer. That is expensive, not cheap, absent a sharp coal price recovery.
  • Minority interests are loss-making (−Rp 4.6bn), meaning the subsidiaries are dragging. Parent-attributable earnings (19.1) exceed group net (14.5).

Sep/Oct-25 Energy Collier Private / UBS AG Singapore 0 → 1.855bn shares (37% of shares out) n/a
Apr–May-25 Leong See Mun SELL −24.6mn shares 371–385
  • A commissioner bought five prints in Aug–Sep 2026, all between 288 and 328. Current price (292) sits in the lower half of that insider accumulation band. That is a credible support reference at ~288.
  • Sizes are trivial in rupiah terms (~Rp 190mn total) but the consistency and direction matter: insiders were buyers into weakness in the last two months, versus a director selling at 324 in Feb-26.
  • The Sep/Oct-2025 transfer of 37% of shares out to Energy Collier Private (via UBS AG Singapore) is a controlling-shareholder restructuring. This is a name whose float and control have recently changed hands — often a source of event risk (mandatory tender, dividend policy shift, or strategic sale) but also of overhang.
  • 2025 sellers (Leong See Mun at 371–385) have been right so far: the stock is ~25% below those exit prices.

4. Seasonality

The seasonality tool returned no rows for KKGI — insufficient history/coverage to establish a monthly pattern. No seasonal edge to lean on; do not assume one.

5. Verdict — HOLD / AVOID (no compelling long or short edge)

Why not long: ~38x annualized P/E and ~10x EV/EBITDA on a coal cyclical whose H1 comprehensive result was a Rp 57.5bn loss; a 60% effective tax rate; an unexplained Rp 72bn OCI charge; no visibility into net cash (balance sheet data unavailable); and liquidity so thin that slippage alone can eat the entire thesis. Insider buying is a small positive but not enough to overcome a ~10x EBITDA multiple on a deteriorating earnings base.

Why not short: insider accumulation at 288 (three weeks ago) creates a real bid-zone, the stock has already de-rated ~25% from 2025 seller levels, and shorting a 0.08%-turnover micro-cap is operationally impractical — borrow and exit liquidity simply don't exist.

Actionable levels if you already hold:

  • Support / stop reference: 288 — the commissioner's August purchase price. A decisive break below on volume invalidates the insider bid thesis.
  • Resistance / trim zone: 324–328 — director sale level (Feb-26) and the top of the insider buy band. That's ~+11–12% from spot; take profits there rather than expecting a breakout without a coal price catalyst.
  • Position sizing: ≤ a fraction of a normal allocation. At Rp 172mn daily value, assume 3–5% slippage round-trip.

What would change the call: (a) retrieval of the balance sheet showing meaningful net cash or a large undervalued asset base, (b) cash flow statement confirming OCF comfortably exceeds reported net income (i.e., the tax/FX charges are non-cash), (c) an explanation of the Rp 71.9bn OCI that shows it is non-recurring, (d) a Newcastle/ICI coal price upturn, or (e) a corporate action from the new 37% holder. Absent one of those, this is a thinly traded, fully-valued coal micro-cap with an opaque equity story — not a position I'd initiate.

(Data caveats: statement-level tools returned file indexes only — EBIT, D&A, net debt, equity, and OCF are unverified; H1 2026 figures are cumulative, so Q2 standalone trends could not be isolated. Earnings multiples are annualized-H1 estimates, not actual trailing-twelve-month figures.)

⚠️ Data Availability Notice

No sentiment data was retrievable for KKGI.JK in this session. No news feed, social-media listener, or retail-forum scraper is connected to this run, and no cached snapshots were supplied. Every section below reflects that constraint rather than genuine market signal. Treat this report as a null result, not as a call.

1. Source-by-Source Breakdown

Source Data points retrieved Finding
News / financial press 0 No articles, headlines, or wire coverage returned
Social media (X, Stockbit, Reddit, Kaskus) 0 No posts, mention counts, or engagement metrics returned
Analyst / broker commentary 0 No ratings, target prices, or note summaries returned

With 0 data points across all three source classes, there is no base from which to compute ratios, mention velocity, or directional bias. Under the stated confidence rubric — "low when one or more sources returned a placeholder or fewer than 5 data points" — this sits at the floor of the scale.

2. Cross-Source Divergences and Alignments

None assessable. Divergence and alignment analysis requires at least two populated sources; there is one or fewer. Any claim of "sources broadly agree" here would be an artifact of silence, not agreement — silence and consensus are not the same thing, and conflating them is the single most common failure mode in thin-data sentiment work.

3. Dominant Narrative Themes

None identified. No recurring phrases, hashtags, or storylines survived filtering because nothing was ingested.

4. Catalysts and Risks Surfaced by the Data

Surfaced by the data: none. For completeness, the structural risk profile a trader should independently verify — these are instrument characteristics, not sentiment findings:

  • Micro-liquidity risk. KKGI.JK is a small-cap on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with thin average daily turnover. Slippage and gap risk dominate position sizing far more than narrative does; a sentiment read on a name this illiquid is inherently fragile because a handful of accounts can move the tape.
  • Commodity beta. The name is exposed to thermal-coal pricing (Newcastle/ICI benchmarks), so sentiment on KKGI is largely a derivative of coal-price narratives and Chinese/Indian import demand rather than company-specific storytelling.
  • Event-driven gaps. Coal miners of this size frequently re-rate on monthly royalty/sales-volume disclosures, IDX filing drops, and any change in domestic-market-obligation (DMO) policy. These arrive as discrete jumps, not sentiment drift.
  • Information asymmetry. English-language social and news coverage is near-zero for this ticker; the real information surface is Indonesian-language (Bisnis, Kontan, CNBC Indonesia, IDX disclosures) plus local retail forums. An English-only sentiment pipeline will systematically read this name as "quiet" when local chatter is active.

5. Summary of Sentiment Signals

Social media tone / volume — (no data) None available 0 posts returned

Cross-source agreement — (not testable) — Fewer than 2 populated sources

How to Make This Report Actionable

Re-run with any of the following attached and confidence can move to medium or high immediately:

  1. Indonesian-language news — Kontan, Bisnis Indonesia, CNBC Indonesia, IDX announcement feed (last 30 days).
  2. Local retail forum data — Stockbit stream and Kaskus/IDX investor threads carry the bulk of KKGI-specific retail sentiment.
  3. Broker research — any IDX-covering house notes with rating and target-price history.
  4. Tape-based proxy — if no text data exists, use foreign-flow (net foreign buy/sell), volume-vs-20d-average, and bid-ask spread as a weak behavioural substitute. Be explicit that this measures positioning, not sentiment.

Recommendation to the trader: do not size a position on this report. A score of 5.0 here means "unmeasured," not "balanced." The distinction matters enormously at this liquidity tier, where the absence of coverage is itself a risk factor rather than a comfort.

What I can and can't tell you on KKGI.JK

I have to lead with the constraint: there is no usable instrument-level data on KKGI.JK right now, and I'd rather tell you that than hand you a confident-sounding view built on nothing.

Data status

Input Result
KKGI news (30-day window) Unavailable — vendor has no articles tagged KKGI.JK
KKGI price / OHLC / volume Not available — no quote tool in this environment
Macro (rates, VIX, inflation) Unavailable — FRED key not configured
Prediction markets Withheld — only live odds served, no 2026-10-27 vintage
IDX screener ✅ Available (but see caveat)
Market breadth ✅ Available

So I can't give you a price, a trend, a valuation, a catalyst read, or a level. Anything I said about KKGI's own chart would be invention.

The one thing worth knowing: KKGI appeared in nothing today

That's a weak signal, but it's a real one. KKGI is absent from the gainers, the losers, and the top-10 by traded value. On a board where 800+ names changed hands, KKGI wasn't among the day's 30 most notable in any of those dimensions. Absence ≠ weakness — it just means no signal today.

What the tape does say, if your thesis is commodity/energy

If KKGI is in your book as a coal/energy-adjacent small cap, today's tape is a headwind, not a tailwind:

  • ENRG −6.54% (Rp76bn traded), BRPT −6.04% (Rp53bn), DEWA −3.31%, BUMI −2.35% (Rp146bn) — the energy/commodity complex is being sold with real money behind it.
  • Telkom −3.74%, BMRI −1.56%, BBRI −1.38% against BBCA +3.06% — big-cap financials split, with BBCA the lone standout absorbing Rp747bn.
  • The gainers list is low-quality churn: XCIS on 5 trades, MKNT on 15, BPII +23.5% on Rp48m. Only BIPP (+17.2%, Rp9.7bn) and KOKA (+13.3%) had genuine participation. That's a tape with no broad conviction bid — money is hiding in BBCA and leaving cyclicals.

(Note: I'm inferring the energy read from your question's context — I can't source KKGI's business mix from these tools, so treat the sector linkage as an assumption to verify, not a fact I've established.)

Two caveats on the tools themselves

  1. The screener is stale despite being labelled fresh. It reports "fresh" at 86,385 seconds — that's exactly 24.0 hours, i.e. yesterday's run, not today's. Its 3-name output (PIPA, BLES, IMPC) also suggests an unusually thin filter pass. I wouldn't weight it.
  2. It's 27 October 2026, not February. My first pass went out on a February date and correctly returned empty. Flagging it so you don't mistrust the silence.

What I need to actually answer your question

Give me any of: a recent close and volume, the last two quarters, or the specific event you're reacting to. With a price history I can place KKGI against the ENRG/BRPT/BUMI complex and tell you whether it's diverging (interesting) or tracking (uninteresting) — which is the only question worth asking about a name this illiquid on a day like today.

Bottom line: no view, not a neutral view. The honest read is that KKGI is unobserved today — not a signal in itself, but not something I'll dress up as analysis.
